From May 18 to 22, Wang Zhijian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, visited Hong Kong and Macao for the 2026 Hong Kong–Macao–Shandong Week. During the visit, he reviewed the Group's operations in both markets, met with key partners and attended a delivery ceremony for Zhongtong new energy buses.
Shining at 2026 Hong Kong–Macao–Shandong Week

On May 19, at the opening ceremony of the 2026 Hong Kong–Macao–Shandong Week and the Shandong–Hong Kong Collaborative Development Exchange, jointly hosted by the People's Government of Shandong Province and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Shandong Heavy Industry Group gave a presentation on leveraging Hong Kong as a platform to advance its global expansion. On May 20, the State-owned Assets and State-owned Enterprises Matchmaking and Exchange Conference of the 2026 Hong Kong–Macao–Shandong Week was held. During the event, Zhongtong Bus signed a cooperation agreement with TCM on electric buses, while SINOTRUK signed an agreement with Dragon Rise New Energy on electric terminal tractors. During the visit, Wang Zhijian met with partners including Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX), Standard Chartered, HSBC and Nam Kwong Group to discuss deeper cooperation involving listed companies, finance and industry.
Reviewing the Group's Hong Kong and Macao Operations

On the morning of May 19, Wang Zhijian chaired a dedicated meeting on Shandong Heavy Industry Group's Hong Kong and Macao operations. He reviewed in detail the capital operations of its Hong Kong-listed companies, including Weichai Power and Sinotruk (Hong Kong) Limited, as well as business development in the Hong Kong and Macao markets. On the morning of May 20, Wang Zhijian visited the Ferretti Group Asia-Pacific Service Center to inspect its operations, observing yacht manufacturing processes and engine installations on site. He noted that the Group should combine "partnering with Hong Kong to go global" with "integrating into and serving Hong Kong and Macao." While continuing to use Hong Kong as a bridge to advance the globalization of its finance, investment and business operations, the Group should step up efforts to develop the Hong Kong and Macao markets so that more of Shandong Heavy Industry's high-end, green and intelligent equipment can contribute to the economic and social development of both regions.
Zhongtong New Energy Tourist Coaches Delivered in Bulk to Nam Kwong's China Travel Service (Macao)

On May 22, a ceremony was held in Macao to mark the bulk delivery of Zhongtong new energy tourist coaches to China Travel Service (Macao) Ltd., a subsidiary of Nam Kwong Group. Wang Zhijian and Fu Jianguo, Chairman of Nam Kwong Group, attended the event and took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony. China Travel Service (Macao) is Macao's largest land passenger transport service provider. Leveraging its advanced technology and exceptional adaptability, Zhongtong Bus has built broad cooperation with Nam Kwong Group in cross-border, urban and tourist passenger transport.
