On June 16, Wang Zhijian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, met with Liao Jiasheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), in Beijing. The two sides held in-depth discussions on strengthening practical cooperation.

Wang Zhijian and Liao Jiasheng briefed each other on the development and business portfolios of Shandong Heavy Industry and CECEP, respectively, and exchanged views on ecological and environmental protection, energy conservation and carbon reduction, the development of zero-carbon industrial parks and factories, collaboration in new energy businesses, and overseas market expansion. The two sides said they would further strengthen business exchanges and coordination, explore practical cooperation across multiple fields, pursue mutual benefit and coordinated development, and work together to advance green, low-carbon and high-quality development.

Hu Haihua, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry, and Zhao Youmin, Secretary of the Board of CECEP, attended the meeting.
